I know a few guys who have been to the beach hop and Kumeu - they are both on the bucket list
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

I think there was about 1200 cars in the hop and god knows how many turn up on the saturday, close too a 100,000 people all up. The Kiwi's really love their cars ,and partying hard at the same time. The coramandel peninsula is sensational from top to bottom , a really good trip could involve a couple of weeks on the coramandel with the beach hop incorporated.
