Reconditioning waterpump for grey motor

Post by Richard »

Howdy folks

Has anyone reconditioned a water pump? Are kits available? Is Repco's replacement water pump the same as the original water pump, or should I try to rebuild the original to keep "stock" with the car.

Regards

Thanks for that Wayne

The water pump you bought from ebay - was it a new Repco one, secondhand stock original, reconditioned secondhand stock original etc; how long has it been installed: I use my car as a daily driver (reconditioned grey motor).

[ Is someone reconditioning original grey motor water pumps on ebay as a business ? ]

Kind regards - Richard

Hi Wayne - just getting back to you to let you know I bought one of those water pumps - they are new, they are not authentic but are replicas of the originals and look very similar with 12 months warranty. I've also followed up on some of the other goodies in the links. Thanks again, kind regards - Richard
