The picture is named "twilight red EK"

Not sure it's an original EK red is it? Anyone know the code if it is?

thanks :)

Or the "twilight" part could just be refering to the show. I think there is a Twilight something or other show up in QLD.

Mitsubishi and Toyota have both had paint named Twilight Red, but I've never heard of it for FKs.

The closest FB/EK colour that I know of would be maybe Mandan Red?

Tiiiiimmmmmmm.

Twilight is reference to the 'Twilight Show' @ Rocklea show grounds. I used to run the car entry gate there. That show is not around anymore but remember seeing that wagon. The red does not look factory.

The car (NOG-544) is originally NOT red. From memory it was Cameo Beige so is just some late model colour. As Sunnymick has said there are only two colours for EK that are close - Apache Red and Grenadier Red. Always had a Snowcrest White Roof.

I've decided the wagon will be a bit 80's modded. You know, triples, alloy and chrome on the grey, hidden wiring, chrome widies, 2 inch system etc. I'm going back to my 20's !!!!!! :)
So it probably wont be original paint codes. I really really like that red on that wagon. Time to go paint hunting :)

You gotta be careful with colours seen in photo's. My car looks a different colour every time depending on the camera used.

The colours do look a bit enhanced in that photo

Yeah, they've definitely 'upped' the red.

I really like the Flamenco Red that the VB commode-doors came in.

Cool...80's modded. Bum up in the air, tramp rods, hot-dog.

Hey, can you still get hot-dogs? Nothing like the sound of a grey with a hot-dog
