Another FB wagon for sale?

Post by DeadElvis »

The FB I was looking at has already hit my ceiling for that car so I have continued my search and came across this

http://www.justauto.com.au/justcars/buy ... position=8

Anyone in Geelong know anything as the price looks OK as a starter?

Price looks good. Maybe too good though.

Are you looking for a car to restore, or one that needs little to no work?

It's at triple J - caveat emptor
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

In a perfect world a rust free example would be good, but looking at the prices I am not sure I want to stretch that far.

I am reasonably handy although a full rebuild is definitely beyond my current scope of skill, but after reading many threads on this site I think I could do some of the work and then outsource the bits I can't do or completely stuff up!

I guess I am open to what comes available.

Blacky Is triple J a known dodgy seller???? I am in Sydney so never heard of them.

Yeah, Triple J is known to sell the odd shitbox. I'd steer clear of that 5 grand wagon.

Be patient. Something will come along that isn't a complete basket case. What's your budget?

The budget ideally would be under $10k, but if the right car came along , then a bit more than that.......depends on what and when a bit I guess
