Removing scuttle panel

Need to do some repairs to the scuttle panel. Do I need to remove the windscreen to reove the panel.

Also how do I remove the stainless trim from the rubber.

Yep you will need to remove the screen. As for the chrome that is fed into the rubber before it's put around the glass, so it'll come out with the screen, provided of course you have taken the two corner and centre pieces off.
