That tailight in that photo is made by a guy in Brisbane by the name of Rob Walker. He has got a very large FB EK history does not own one anymore. In Steve Jacksons photos of Tumnut 1991 nationals his car is the purple/black with moons mild kustom EK. I can contact him to find out if he still makes them if you want.
true..the tailgate made by this dude? Why do you say that??? Thats great to find out tho.
hey guys...the blinker and rear lenses..i got no idea where they actually come from..so dont shoot me.....they were my Xmas present..so dont post up the price of them hehe....
also that is a "63" dodge phoenix in the background in the other pics too..good guessing guys.

Matty,
As Mick has pointed out these taillights are by Rob Walker and are different to those done by Classic Plastic.
Both are very neat but look different to each other.

I would like to know who makes these as well, as I'm after a set. I managed to get in touch with Shane @ Classic Plastic 2day and he said to me they don't do a bee hive lens, so someone must know. I purused through John's Rod and Custom site and showed nothing, I'll guess I'll have to give a call 2morrow.
John
From memory guys I purchased my set maybe 7 to 9 yrs ago. I chipped in with a good mate of mine Jared and we got a set each.
Unfortunately he did the posting and receiving for the lens, so I cant help you with info. Only that from memory they were advertised in the back of a Street Machines Magazine which had all the info. No idea the year or issue sorry. I do remember they were in Queensland thou why we both got em together.
DR,
nice arty shot... it realy shows of that side trim nicely...
oldnek,
mate i spoke to dale @ classicplastic around 2 weeks ago and they still do them...
BUT, i'm not sure if they are like the one in the picture i posted or like DR's... DR's look like they dont have a beehive enching in the plastic, they look more like a circular etching. BUT I THINK THEY ARE THE SAME EXTERNAL SHAPE....
Hey Matty, I got a set off Rob a few years back for my sedan and they were the last of what he had made. First proto types of Robs lights were just red plastic with the etching in them but dept of transport didn't like the fact of no reflector, so my set have an insert in clear inside the lense so as to reflect. Sunnymick has a set of the first ones that Rob made 15 odd years ago. I'll give Rob a call to see if he still does them.
Cheers Theo Z..............
Watch for the early bird, He might be just getting home.
