OK....here's the fitting of my Cruizin' Skirts..(I've had for a year now  )..
As you can see..the ""all Green" is a bit too much I.M.H.O., and makes it look too much like a barge!

So I'm going to do this to 'em to break up the all that Seaforth Green..(Note: this is a photoshopped rendering NOT paint...yet).

I've just started to do my "mist coat" of green pearl and am just about to lay out the lines for the lacing to go..

It's my driveway, Brett.. when I park the car there..the drivers side is on a small mound and the passenger side is in a slight hole..ahh the fun of a dirt drive!!

Here's what i was able to do today..(bloody winter days are too short, so I only get about 3 1/2 hours of decient heat to paint in :( )
Here you can see the finished laced section's ..a pearl white base followed the darker pearl green over the lace, then a fade of green around the edge followed by a small amount of gold mini falke to match the flash on the car.

Image
That's not 'orange peel' on the lace..but Gold Flake..hard to see in the photo...

And this is it hung up on the car..got it close to the photo shopped version (no 'airbrushed chrome edge' yet..have to let the paint go off more yet..and run out of day).

Scotty.

P.S. Forgot to thank Paul Kelly for the design on these skirts..I'd been pulling my hair out on this..and a talk with him on the subject when I was up in QLD fixed the problem I'de been losing sleep over. Oh and for the actual skirts in the first place  ..
