Pulling qtr vent window out of frame ????

I am not a smart man , but blowed if I can get my qtr vent window out of its frame to replace the rubbers , what am I missing :oops:

Have just broke the pin of the first one and dont want to try the second one , have had a look around the forum but cant find anything on it .

Anybody point me in the right direction , please :roll:

You have to drill out the rivets that attach the 1/4 vent frame to the door glass channel.
Once you have done that remove the nut and spring from the botton pivot of the vent window
Then you hold the vent window and pull the outer section at the top where the rubber sits away from the top pivot till it if no longer held in place by the top pivot.
Then its just a matter of sliding the botton threaded pivot out to release the 1/4 vent frame and glass.

Was going to take the rivets out too :oops: ,but thought there must be a sneaky way to do it :eh:

Remember the post of Smooth,s on Bennys wagon now :oops: , Thought at the time will have to remember that :lol: , am going to blame old age for my lack of memory
