Hey Andrew, were those carbs bought with that finish or did you get them coated?

Jake,

I bought the carbs like that from Xtreme Fuel Systems. Nigel there uses what is known as "steel ball burnishing" to achieve the polished finish. Have a look here http://xtremefuelsystems.com/

Nigel also did the carbs for the "Mis Behavin" grey motor powered FC http://fefcholden.org.au/forum/index.ph ... c=9227.120

:lol: :oops: Wow - a year since I said that. Well, the engine is finally in. Just need a new wiring harness, reinstall the fuel and cooling systems, and we'll be running it in.
