Problem almost solved - I've fitted 9 inch wheels at the front so that I can now corner without hitting the spats. However the front bumper scrapes the road on a semi regular basis. Any ideas?
I have tried to re-tighten the nut behind the wheel but the thread is burred and not sure now if it's worth all the effort of spats at the front........

To get the correct tension without a tension wrench ... ...Tighten it till it strips then back it off 1/2 a turn ......... that should fix the nut behind the wheel .... ..fingers
Don’t you find it Funny that after Monday(M) and Tuesday(T), the rest of the week says WTF?
or you could try hingeing them from the top, greasing the outer edge of the tyres is a must
just be carefull on roundabouts as you will have to allow a little room ...
