FB Smash Box Clutch Kit NEEDED

Post by tcklanger »

Hiya,
Am new to the site and have a beautiful FB with smashbox in need of a new clutch kit. Does anyone know the best place to source this from?? Am in Wamuran, North Brisbane area.
Also, have seen a few FB's and EK's going along the Dag Highway towards Woodford.....am interested in joining a drive outing club if anyone can give me the info that would be fantastic too.
Thanks heaps

Welcome!

For a bit more street-cred, try calling it a crashbox

Most brake & clutch centers should be able to help out with parts / fitting. I don't think the parts have become hard to source yet.

Hi Tcklanger

A few options:

Either get your original clutch platre/centres etc rebuilt; or

Buy a replacement to match original - I believe its R32 from Clutch Industries; or

Buy a replacement red motor clutch kit - I believe its R66N from Clutch Industries.

I've used the R66N kit in my FB and planing to also use it in my EK - both have grey motors.

More info at Cutch Industries at http://clutchindustries.com.au/index.html and http://catalogue.clutchindustries.com.au/

Thanks Stewart, appreciate your helpful advice.
We will fix her up this weekend (well the boys will, I'll be doing the supervising & food lol) then we can get back on the road.
Thanks again. All the best and have a great day.
