Cold air gushing from a blowhole on the surface of the Nullarbor
Caption reads. "There are many of these blowholes. Stamping on the ground in their vicinity frequently gives off a hollow sound which indicates the cavernous nature of the strata below."

There heaps of caves along the Nullarbor - a couple of mates and I went into a few of them years ago.

wonder if the second pic might have been a funeral you would think even back then it would be a little uncommon to see 2 tank fairlanes in a row driver of secon car seems to be wearing a suit as does the EK wagon driver

some mates and I used to rent this house in Dendy st brighton for $15 a week, this is about 1977
we would buy old holdens from the StKilda impound auctions for between $50 and $150 and wreck or repair em in the backyard, this FE was one of our first sales


some of them we did some radical modifications before we sold them e.g bonnet scoop and custom grill
amazing what you can achieve with an oxy



then when we got bored we used to play smash up derby, this is how i learnt to drive at the age of 16
