Hi folk
Have just been talking to the Jubilee Motor Inn which is a budget 3 star motel. This motel is a very comfortable one. Car parking out the back. If you wish to stay there please say you are coming for the fb/ek nationals and they will look after you. Check out the website. www.jubileemotorinn.com
This motel is a 5 minute drive from the International, but there will be a mini bus available to all entrants that weekend. ($3 per head each way)
Suggest anyone coming to the nationals start get their accommodation sorted out as it is always a big weekend and the same weekend we have just discovered that the Vic v S.A BMX state titles are on.
For any other accommodation with technology google: Mount Gambier accommodation and you will find all you want.
cheers
Lesley
Hi guys, I have just contacted the Tower Motor Inn and they still have some rooms left.
I have already booked a Cabin at the Mount Gambier Central Caravan Park but the Tower looks a lot closer to the Quality Inn so I am now thinking that I might cancel that cabin and book a room at the Tower.
Before I do that I thought I would check to see if anybody else has booked at the Caravan Park?
Cheers. Ray.
Hi Ray
The caravan park is very good. The Tower Moter Inn is very good also but it is 3k's from the Nationals headquarters (Country Comfort motor Inn), it is on a highway and no footpaths so not an easy walk. However we have a mini bus on duty that weekend, $3 pp ea way, so it does not matter where you stay, as you can leave your car at accommodation and be able to get a lift to and fro from night time events.
Cheers

Good morning folk
Just a friendly reminder, if you are heading this way in June for the nationals, please think about getting your accommodation organized. Would hate to see you miss out. (The bmx S.A. V VIC state championships are here that weekend and the bmx events always have huge following) Check Mount Gambier tourism website for accommodation listings will be the easiest.
cheers Lesley and Roger
Thanks Lesley and Roger,
we've booked into the Mt. G Central CP.
Very much looking forward to our first nats since Yamba...... very long time between drinks....
How many sleeps? - I know you have them marked up....
Good work Rosco, Glad you got your accommodation sorted out , it certainly has been a long time between drinks looking so forward to catching up with you and Dorothy again in person.
100 SLEEPS ..........Next question have you sent in your entry just a reminder that entries close 30th April
see you both soon...
100 - that will be 99 tomorrow... down to two digits, Lesley.......
Yes - nats form and money order sent on Thursday last week.... should now be in the "system"....
Haven't been to Mt. G for quite a few years.... what colour are the "lakes" at present..... and what are they likely to be when we get there..... think blue and green are the only two options..? a girl just has to know what to wear that won't clash with the locals....
The lake is at it's very best at the moment a brilliant blue, so many of us locals are commenting on just how brilliant it is this year. The brilliance will be gone by then but even in winter on a clear day it still is blue.
cheers Lesley
