window won't wind down

drivers side window on the FB won't wind down think the regulator is rusted but I think the guide channel is bent how to diagnose/fix this issue?

Pull it apart and really find what the problem is :idea:

You'll want to clean and regrease everything in the door anyway...and maybe need new rubbers and channels...so undo every single screw, bolt, nut etc and strip it all out...

Thanks guys I was a bit reluctant to pull it apart so I asked hoping someone had this issue before and knew how to fix it.

Was hoping someone would say X is the problem and Y is the solution so I wouldn't have to spend hours on it oh well guess I should stop being lazy and get to it then.

I think it will be either the roller in the channel or it might be tight because the bailey channel might have rusted or collspsed and come off the back of the 1/4 window support rail inside the door.
