Dash Speaker Grill
Just wondered if anybody has thought about chrome plating the speaker grill on the top of the dash?
Re: Dash Speaker Grill
Has been done - check out ekkool's purple 'bagged EK custom in the gallery.

Not sure if I would like having something that shiny to reflect the sun off while driving

G'Day Guys
Don't even go there with chrome on your dash, I had an EH Holden years ago, Chrome Glovebox, Chrome Gauge Rack and the Dash area above the speedo was high polished and clear coated because it could not be chromed - but finished it looked chrome anyway.
The first day I drove it with the full dash in we went to Bondi Beach, my mates were laughing saying I was a sneaky bastard - what a great way to look up chicks skirts a chrome glovebox.
It was the drive from hell due to the heat and the reflexions against the window it made it very hard to see, it was starting to feel like I had welders flash and felt sick when I got home.
I pulled it out the next day and put the spare original in.
I sold it to a guy in Bidwell who was building an EJ show car, I do not know where it is now.

As to the comments made above - they sure make sense
I think EKK001's looks OK because it's a pretty wild interior
But most others I have seen look out of place - but that's just my own opinion
