Being an option extra, I wonder if Nasco made them or what?
Gee, its a rough car Steve, I'd be carful lifting it with a forklift! It might break in two

Re: I want this car !!! Can someone help me get it?
Steve, are you actually serious about this or is it just bit of tongue in cheek?
I know you would love to have it in your collection but would you really buy it if it was for sale?
Something like this surely you would have to fly over there and sort it out. If it was running / registered you could organise with the seller to drop it off at a freight company and have it shipped over here but due to it's condition you would struggle. Also there's the quarentine factor, look how much dirt and crap that car has in it and around it
jesus it would take some cleaning to get it ready for travel.
I would love to see you with one though
and I'm sure you'll find one
Oh, why wasn't the car for sale? did you ask if they were looking for a rare guitar? maybe a part trade?

I don't know about Steve, but if it was for sale, I'd fly over and pick it up / clean it / transport it etc.
I'd just make an adventure out of it. Heck - some people spend good money going on hiking holidays or climbing Mount Everest.
What better way to spend your time than following-up on something that you're really interested in like this?
I've been divorced, had cancer 5 times and basically had to restart my life from scratch at the age of 41. So would I spend time and money going to Greece / Bulgaria to rescue a car that very few people would ever care about? Absolutely
I also think that the car is much more interesting as a pile of rusty junk. People would spend a lot more time looking at it than if it was restored and looking just like the next EK, but just happened to have a steering wheel on the other side
Besides, looking at what's on ebay, it might be a cheap way to get a dash clock

thought i'de better add not that there's anything wrong with flashy cars

There was a fifty seven chrysler put into a time capsule not to be opened till fifty years later. When they finally pulled it out it was a rusty pile of junk. It eventually went to auction and pulled a serious amount of money. It was in the hundreds of thousands.

Have a question...
Would that Bulgaria EK been sold as a Holden, I can’t see any maker’s badges only the Special badge on the glove box
and remnants of the S of the badge on the front guard.
I also wonder if the Holden’s sold in Hawaii in the 1960's were sold as Holden or as Chevrolets.

My guess, and it's only a guess, is that the Bulgarian one here is actually from Greece (or is even still in Greece). Understandably, I don't think Steve will be giving us too many clues as to its exact location
I've seen footage of the cars being exported and they clearly have Holden badges on them. If you look closely at this car's speedo it has Holden clearly written on it and the horn button has the Holden logo

So you are probably correct Alan.

If it's in Bulgaria from the 60's it probably had a Lada badge on it!....
