My new work ute
Thought i'd see if I could upload some photos of this ute I've just picked up off ebay.
I'm planning to use it as a daily driver for work once I get it over here in WA.

I think your right !
two inches would proberly do the trick (, without going nuts !!)
might make it sit better on the road too..
Cheers,

Great looking ute, gotta be happy with that.

I'd rather drive something made of metal, not plastic!

Looking good.
My thoughts Lower a ute your off your head.If its going to be driven maybe if its only ment to be looked at.
Unless you only put pillows in the back and drive on smooth flat roads.

Re: My new work ute
I drive my sedan that's been lowered a bit more than two inches every day over dirt & the princes' hwy (rough as guts from Termeil into Ulladulla) and it's not that bad..it's more comfortable that the Triton was!
I love the ute...the steering wheel is too cool!
But I have to agree with "Wrongway Peach-Trev"
and the spats will look better in the body colour.
Scotty.

Re: My new work ute
My ute has been lowered and is quiet hard, but thats why the seats have springs!!!! We will have to do a Mandurah cruz one day.

Re: My new work ute
If you do a Mandurah Cruise, stop by at Secret Harbour on the way and I'll join in
And I gotta say, schweeeeeet ute
Would be interesting to see what it looked like 2" lower
Maybe get a couple of lardy mates to sit in the front and fill the back with bags of cement so that you can check out the look.... If it's still not low enough, then throw on my ex-wife and she'll sag another couple of inches (the suspension I mean
).

Re: My new work ute
Thanks for the comments fella's I appreciate you all taking the time.
You guys are right about those spats, I'll get them covered in blue once I get the ute home here in Mandurah....
A run out to the Ravenswood tavern might be a plan for Perth locals if anyone's interested some time down the track, I might put it up for review on the "what's happening in WA" thread
Might be something to do over xmas....
actually, I need to see how I'm going to fit a heater into the ute so a colection of FB/EK's in one place will be handy..

Fitting it isn't the hard part...it's finding the things that's a challengeMyEKisdriven wrote:I need to see how I'm going to fit a heater into the ute so a colection of FB/EK's in one place will be handy..

My FB is in Secret Harbour and has a Warmaride heater in it. You're welcome to drop in when I'm back in Perth and have a look at how it's mounted if you like.

Re: My new work ute
Cheers for the offer meFB.
I'd like to have some heating in before next winter.
As I recall (, years ago ) the old heaters leaked like a seive... at least the cars I had leaked..
There is a thread ( int ) about an aftermart new "french" heater for $120.00 I think it's got a two speed fan but I'd have to check out how it could be fitted.
It's been a while since I had my head under an EK dash... now that I think of it....
HA !!! 30 yrs +
