Post by WayneXG95 »

Seeing were are reviewing Wiper Motors (Not to highjack another thread) :)
I have this AC Delco unit in my FB.
I can't remember what a vacum one looked like... :econfused:

Any Pics?

I don't remember seeing a cable going to mine. Unfortunately I think it has been "upgraded" to all electric now. Maybe it's one of the things that was stripped off Plastic by her previous owners. Oh well, I love the car how it is and won't loose any sleep over it.

Would it be EK? or an option from the late run of FB's to set up for the EK run?
Yet to assertain the corect date mine was built but from Steve Jackson's register
on known FB and EK cars mine looks like a very late built Adelaide one.
My body number is 13469A and the one back (I'm 310 further cars on)on the register is 13159A with a known sold date of 17/3/1961
So mine is either built weeks or a month later and just before the earlist known EK on the register sold on the 15/5/1961.
It looks to me that there may have only been 8 weeks difference.

Besides the wiper motor looks like it's always been there. :econfused:

Perhaps Steve can add some thoughts on this? :)
Can't wait for the updated register! :D

Disscussion point perhaps 8)

Any thoughts Tim.
