Hey guys!
I'm new to the forums, thanks for letting me join up! I've recently come across an FB Holden sedan, but am unsure where to find the chassis number. It's had a fire resistant paint applied to the engine bay and rails which is most likely hiding the number. I don't want to go ripping off too much paint to locate it. Any help is much appreciated!

FB Chassis number location?
Re: FB Chassis number location?
Open the bonnet, and look at the left-hand (drivers) side inner guard. There is an electrical connection panel near the front (four or so screwed terminals in a wiring block that hold the headlight and parklight wiring). The numbers are generally stamped just behind this on the surface inclined at about 70-degrees to vertical. Apologies for the description - long way from home and the camera.
Cheers,
Harv.

Thanks very much Harv, will go check it out again! I think the wiring has been mostly hidden as it's a modified car, but pointing me in the general direction is a great help. Thanks mate!!

A thousand words
. It's the rusty looking bit where paint had to be scraped off to see the stamping.
