Excellent, I will repair the shelves and shove Marc's stuff down the driveway a bit, so the shelves can go up the front of the car, and I will start labelling all the spares.

Ponked the crappy steering wheel out today, and found out it had a coupple of pins on the back of the steering wheel, which have left some nasty grooves on the inside ends of the horn contact ring, and also the contact ring is bent a little at the right edge.

looks like the previous owner bashed the different steering wheel on with a hammer, had to get a fat mate to gorilla the thing off (pulley puller we have didn't fit)

so far, we need MOST parts.

Boss gave me access to dealership only knowledge today so I'm feeling pretty special, the dealership where I work has a long and very interesting history I'm sworn to secrecy though so can't reveal what I've seen or heard today  but much of the information I have recieved will make our ute fix up a lot easier.

just hooked the original horn we found up to my car battery... nothing. then again with all the rust over it, and the fact it was swimming when we found it in the bucket.... I'm honestly not surprised.
the cheapo we got from the swap meet will do for now, it works perfectly.

Vicki and I are heading down tomorrow for the rodrun, the show & shine is at Memorial Park on sunday at 10 I think but you can check with the club down there to make sure. Looking forward to checking Deni out again, haven't been back there since I worked there in 1979 ( Geez I'm aging quick  )

Wall of pictures hits you for over 9000.

Horn contact ring has a nice gouge in it from the other steering wheel.

Also, Fuel level sensor wire is buggered. will need replacements.

Pulled out the Checkerplate, surprisingly good under it, apart from the crappy fibreglass added on one side of the fuel tank covering some rust.

If anyone is wondering why we haven't dismantled the ute yet it's cause Daniel's house is being sold in the next 6 months or so and it will be easier to move it in one piece so for now we are gathering bits we need and doing little jobs

dropped the fuel tank out today, fuel spilt everywhere and made a right royal mess when the fuel line was disconnected.

When draining the old fuel out found 3 fishing sinkers in the tank  not sure if they were supposed to be there or not
