Mod plates.

Post by Holden61,64 »

I'm Just getting ready to get all my modifications plated and i spoke to the guy about how much it cost.
He told me the plate itself is $110 and then it's $90per mod.
Does that sound right? I Thought it was a little bit pricey.
As i have 7 mods to get done. Thats $740 just to get mods certified.
Then i need to get my safety cert done as well and there's another $70.
Does this sound about right ?
Cheers

don't know how QLD works but sounds allright to me, in NSW i've been hunting an engineer the cheaper ones wanted to see the car in progression cost $800 upwards plus the cost of transporting the car multiple times to them (quite a long way for me atleast $200-$300 a time) found a guy that will look at the car finished $1200  but this all could be getting dearer with the changes suposedly coming in at the end of the month :?
