So heres some more pics. The drivers door is just about done, just needs a tiny little bit more metal work and it'll be ready to do the bodywork on.

Couple of update pics.

This is about how low i want it to sit  if not lower. Definitely level though, although may have the front an inch or so higher for a taildragger look.

Door hung (On my own, bloody brother is a lazy bastard..).

And put the taillights on for a bit of a rear mock up. I also have gotten my super secret rear bumper down from the rafters and will be narrowing it and trial fitting it between wacking the rear pillar out, which i started this arvo.

Cheers Muza!

Few more pics..

The super secret bumper. This is before narrowing. Been wanting to do this since i found the bumper well over two years ago.

Image

Marking out what i have to remove. In total, 300mm was taken out of the width to make it fit the EK body.

Image

Tacked and mocked up again.

A side view.

Still have a lot of work to get this bumper to fit the cars contours better but at least its giving me an idea of what it'll look like behind the car. I think it looks cool as hell!

I reckon if you chanelled the bumper by 20 mm and added a 49 mercury rego plate chrome surround that would make it even more kool

Channelled the bumper? I know what channelling a body means but not this. Do you mean sectioning it? I've got a few different overriders that I will be trial fitting when I get to that, so it may not stay just as it is.

You love what idea Harko?

I'm going to finish the two door conversion before i play with the bumper more but may do a bit on it here and there in between. I'll have to see how EK, FB and these other overriders i have will look on it. Also have some other things i may use too.

Ahhh yes i see. You guys reckon it'd look better narrowed. Hm. I'll have to see how it looks when its sorta more further along with overriders and stuff on it. I never liked that EK bumpers were so narrow top to bottom.. so i'm not sure if i'll section it just yet.
