OK playing some MAJOR catch up with pics...

These date back to August 2009...cleaning front crossmember...

Stripping down front crossmember in February 2010...

the other side...I removed the shock and used threaded rod to compress the spring and get some tension off...




needed some leverage too...

stripping and de-rusting door hinges in Oct and November 2010...

mix some of this...


with water, make sure your electodes are wired up right and turn the battery charger on...


and throw in a dab of elbow grease...gets you this...




some more...tailgate hinges






A cheap but slow way of cleaning and derusting parts if you dont have access to sand blasting.

these sorts of car parts will never be made again...it's art...
