Can it be pushed through the fire wall a bit more?
No the column is a perfect length for me (I don't have to reach out to hold the steering wheel), I had the seat in about where my legroom would be okay and the steering felt comfortable. Then if I want to I can always tilt the steering wheel up and drive it like a T Bucket

Looking great!

You probably said it in an earlier post but what under dash booster is that and did you make the mount yourself?
Looks very well made.
