Fitting new 1/4 window seal

Post by Fud »

Can anyone tell me is there is any way of fitting a new seal for the front 1/4 window short of cutting half way through the seal so you can pop it onto the two metal rods and the glue it back together? Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers Fud

I need to do the same thing. I think I'll take Theo's suggestion in that link and cut the rubber rather than fart assing around trying to remove the whole window assembly

It took me and hour and a half yesterday to remove the 1/4 window assembly, just for me to find out that i cant pull it apart easily.
