Cheapest option a few mates found was to sign up at a metal shaping course at TAFE. They made their own patch panels with access and guidance on using a full workshop off tools.
Speed and Style........... One day I'll get the speed bit.

How about this ......I find and persuade a very avid collector of all things old to part with his NOS rear beaver panel, NOS sills and a NOS boot floor for much dollars but it will fix half my rust problems ...I suggested to him if he doesnt sell them soon he will probably die and go to heaven but his kids will probably sell his collection and lifes work for next to nothing , so best get the dollars now and enjoy it himself ..he wouldnt part with his NOS quarter panels tho....But every time I look at the old girl I find more hidden rust ...when you buy an old car and its been heavily black jacked ...its probably done for a reason... to dud ya ...to hide rust ..my car was heavily black jacked in the boot area , I used the heat gun and scraper for many hours only to find holes everywhere even the fuel tank was black jacked to stop fuel leaks , how dangerous is that ...unscrupulous bastard ...a Crumpet has less holes.. Anyway its off to the panel beater to get it fitted ............Fingers
