Twins to single carb

Hi all

After some feedback

Got twin stombergs ATM on a 'monaro motors' manifold coupled with pacemaker extractors

Thinking of switching back to a single carb

Have heard 1 and 6 will run lean with only 1 carb

Any thoughts?

I had X2 set up on a red motor for about 4 years, ran fine but for some reason I thought I would put a single carb on, I got at least 20% more power with the single carb .

I dont have a Monaro motors one.

I have a 186 so I used Stromberg 1 5/32 size.
The twins were Stromberg 1 3/32 size.

If no's 1 and 6 run lean on a single carb there was a million or more grey motors that left the factory with issues
