Sorry missed ya ED , the fold is the ribs in the parcel shelf but the carpet has been turfed to be sure to be sure.Ed wrote:I think the window looks good..
the fold in the marine carpet doesn't look so good tho.
what did you use to blank out the corner windows?
The fill ins are the corners of the roof section the window came outta ,its just the window section is bare steel now so the colouring dont match

Would have to be one of the sweetest looking rides I have seen! Don't change the wheels either

Re: Chopped Ute
The small window makes the rear of the cab corners look heavy in the photoshop version , dont know if its the colour or what - is it the same size in the photoshop version or is it smaller ? I still reckon its a great idea , might just need refining.

I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Thats a little better , I rang up the old man for some pointers on doing the louvres .
He said "Mouse" get some ratsak , "photoshop" theres one at the shopping centre ,"Holden" piss off and talk to someone else.

Re: Chopped Ute
Maybe a smidge wider with the window ? Dont mind it on the darker colour though
What about if you shave the gutters off too , gives it a more rounded appearance to match the back ?

Re: Chopped Ute
I still like the small window, maybe stretch it out to the sides a little bit, it will visually flatten out the top arch a bit to follow the roof lines better and bring it out to match the roof corners better.
I dont think the photoshop pic does it much justice at all.
Personally i've never used photoshop... just trust your gut feel Harko, it usually works out well.

I agree with you on Photoshopped versions, Ed. But it can help with some people to see something what they have in mind.Ed wrote: I dont think the photoshop pic does it much justice at all.

I know very few folk that can envisage the whole build in their 'minds eye'. Paul Kelly can and it sounds like you can too.
But some people have a great deal of difficulty seeing "it". That's when an artwork or Photoshopped versions come in useful..plus it's fun to do.

Its that point for me where I knew what I wanted to acheive with the photoshop but the technique isnt there.
And now you have done it I still cant see how
