hey guys im new to this forum but i figure you guys are who i need to be talking to about a project im looking at under taking. i would like to get an fb/ek sedan and turn it into a coupe, chop the top, fit a supercharged v6 and possibly some suicide doors and a few other custom tricks. i work as a panel beater so i will be doing the body work myself and as much of everything else as possible. what i would like to know is if anyone there has done something similar and what kind of engineering/expense was envolved. any tips to do with that or the chop would be greatly appreciated because i want to know what im in for before i undertake this big project.
cheers

There's nothing as Sweet as a EK V8

Sounds good. One of you're biggest expense will be a chopped screen. Best to talk to MiniFB or Mez about theirs.
Speed and Style........... One day I'll get the speed bit.
Re: advice for custom ek needed
+The screen cost depends on which way you go about it , you can cut a laminated screen down with success ,sink one into the apperture or make one from scratch ...

Gus , are you North or South of the river ? I use Dan Pitic for engineering stuff, he is in Kingsley or thereabouts.
Theres a bloke in Lesmurdie who is pretty good as well apparently.
