Yes, we are the proud owners of the very functional caravan. On how we come to purchase "Igor" is somewhat amazing. Roger approached a friend who had a box of old unique cars, to see if he could find this treasure. (He had seen it advertised for sale many many years ago) Located it in the 2nd to last book he looked through, then started investigating to where it finished up. We actually bought it from a gentleman in Castlemaine vic, and it had never been registered in Vic. Just went down to the motor reg. handed over the transfer paper and paid for the rego and cruising we go.
Paid for and trailered home, set about cleaning it out. With the exception of having the gearbox reconditioned (use to jump out of 5th) we had a full size annex made and we use it regularly. Took it the the AHD in Melbourne a in 2003. We purchased it in June 2001.
We have removed the ugly bull bar which on the pics that came with him use to store the gas cylinders.

We have all "his" story on which came with him.

Hey I remember this, it was advertised in Uniquie cars way back when and I just didn't have the cash to buy it. Good to see its still on the road and hasn't been scrapped.

Cheers :D

We have loads of fun in "Igor" It is great to be able to spend a weekend away especially in the nicer weather. .....The name, well, when we purchased "him" and in all the paperwork from the beginning was a request to retain the name. Have thought about changing it but just doesn't seem right!
cheers
