Body Trim Clips

Post by gandsnewhouse »

Does anyone know where I can get the clips that hold the stailless steel trim strips on the doors, guards and rear quarter panels of the EK Special sedan, mine are pretty rusty. There are two types, the end clips and the smaller intermediate ones. Rare Spares Newcastle tried to get them for me but weren't successful.

I have considered making them but they probably need to be made from spring steel to be effective.

Any suggestions?

Try a local panel shop - theres a mob called Wurth who make universal type clips that you can use , I have also used clips from Chevs on my cars too.
Google the filling station , truck and car shop or Danchuk and search for clips , you might find something you can use.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.
