Nostalgic photo

Post by sunnyben »

Here is a picture of the old FB Wagon. This was satellite yellow with a modern look flash in strata blue. We used to go cruzin with Skinny Mick, Peggy and Campbell to Pandanus Beach and the Rock Wall. (Mick was always running 15 mins behind). I'll post some more nostalgic pics for you soon.

There were many singing trips to Beaudesert in the middle of the night with Automatic Ray (sometimes in his PJs!) with an esky full of XXXX in the back.

We used to do 'Egg Nog' runs over the border before they were legalised in NSW. Truckin Ken would meet us half way and after drinking a 2 litre nog, sometimes with Khalua, he would get the remaining product to Sydney for distibution - in exchange for cigars from the mafia boses (Kenny R)

Gotta luv Qld!

Hey sunnyben they stuffed the rock wall with the big speed bump in the early 90's used to rip the exhaust from stockers let alone if you dropped it did you get down to the port at all

I want one!

There are a number of photos by Jack Eden featuring a similarly flashed FB wagon which was apparently owned by surfing guru Scott Dillon.
