62 EK Ute New To Forum!

Post by Fud »

Hi my name is Frazer and I am new to the forum, I'm currently restoring a 1962 EK Utility.

I bought this ute from a man that started restoring it but lost interest in it and it sat in a shed until I came across and decided to restore it.
I hope to get it on the road before i get my P plates, we have dropped the drive gear out of it and had it sand blasted and I am now painting it all up, ready to put back in. It is all painted and mostly put back together, we still have to get the engine running and put back in and reupholster the interior. I will post some more photos as it goes along and the finished product.

Hey Fud, welcome and what a winner!

Can you please put a pic of the ID plate, chassis and engine number if you can for our research in the ID plate thread.

I can always pop around and take the pics if you like :)

Thank you,

Steve

Went to Frazer's today and met his Dad, two dogs and one beautiful and rare Cameo Beige Ute!

The drive in to Frazer's property was just gorgeous .... see pics here .... http://www.fbekholden.com/forum/viewtop ... 23#p132823

Here are some pics I took today.

Congratulations Frazer, hope she makes the Nationals.

Steve

Parts Ute,

I bought a Ute today to get some parts off it, it cost me $1200 and I will be selling it in a little bit after I get the required parts.
If anyone is interested let me know.
