Indicator assembley

Post by Dakam »

Drove the car today and just before I got home , the bloody indicator stalk snapped. It is still attached to something in the body as it just flops around but I cant pull it out.
The question is......
not having pulled apart the assembly before, how much of a pain in the ass is it.
I realise the steering wheel and shit has to come off, but is it difficult to replace the whole indicator assembly. (thats if I can get my hand on one)
Any help would be greatly apreciated.

Cheers, Dave.
I'd rather drive something made of metal, not plastic!

Dave I've got a spare column if you want to get what you need. I'll go and look tomorrow night when I get home.

It may be just a loose screw, pop the steering wheel off and have a look.
