Perhaps the all red interior, chrome tailgate strips, blacked out front indicators and whited out rear indicators were an attempt to make it look more like a '57 Chev? Works for me.

Why would spatts get defected? They are made to go on cars, Nothing illegal about them! Trev 8) .

spats???

Post by mattymartin »

hey trev...

mate thats what i was told buy someone at oldholdens, they had said that they are only aloud on two door car's, ute's, paenlvan's, coupe's... in NSW.
they were underthe impression that the exhaust had to finish somewhere behind the back wheels...

please tell me otherwise... cause i would love to have them running down the side of the wagon

this another one of the thousands of pic's i found a while a go that i had to keep
Image

love it

Matty,

Mate, Spats are rear wheel covers. Side Pipes are exhaust pipes that run under the sills panels (sometimes called "Lakers" or "Show tubes"). A "Fluted" bonnet is a bonnet with pressed flutes in it too allow heat to escape and look cool.

Hope this clears things up for you.

Regards, Smooth 8)
