Saturday was BLODDY HOT !!!!
36 dergees and no shelter isnt very good for a guy who gets sunburn in the middle of winter.( and thats no joke!!)
Nice cars, good music made for a good day. By two o'clock I've had enough, left the track, back to the hotel and straight into the pool with beers in hand. What a way to spend the day. After the pool, went down to the roadside in front of the hotel, sat down with some beers and watched the world go by.

Sunday, ahhhhhhhh, A break from the heat.
Absolutly pissed down on Saturday night which made for a really mild day at the track today.
Perfect day for it.
Watched some pinstriping, stocked up on some new t shirts and went wandering around.
DR told me to leave before 3, or be prepared to wait for hours to try and get off the Island in the usual traffic jam.
Packed up the family and before we left I took them around the GP circuit about ten times, that was good fun :D :D :D
I knew it was time to get off the track when there was traffic jams from too many cars on the track, plus I think the FB had enough of me trying to throw it around corners which it REALLY did not like.
Great relaxing weekend, will definatly go next year.

Thanks guys for the kind words,
It was a fantastic week-end for car enthusiasts of all types, for those that couldnt attend, well you missed out on one of the best if not the best custom national's.
Ive put a link here to a slideshow, taken from the oz rodders website of some of the great machines that were there,

Enjoy.

Yeh, that had me buggered. Out of all the places he could have dropped the car and van, it would have been the only spot where there was a bit of mud from the rain the night before.
Gotta admit, that van looked COOL 8) dropped on its guts.
