Sorry if this has been done, but i couldnt find enough info. I,m wanting to build a chev t350 with skyline diff if possible. i need some info about buying one to handle power.. eg. spline size, width and brakes? I,d like to run hq stud pattern all round.

Why not use a Commondore/Foulcan diff ? common as muck ,4 pinion LSD , cheap to buy , will need to be narrowed but at least then you can make it exactly the width you need and if you use a Commode diff the stud pattern can be modded to HQ for nix if you have a mate with a mill.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

I have a Borg Warner diff out of a Pintara Wagon in my wagon, I am putting a 350 & T 400 (was going for a T700 due to the 3.89 ratio, but have been advised against)
The diff is the same wheel track as the EK (very close) and the rotors and splines on mine are drilled to suit HQ stud pattern.
There are a hell of a lot of brackets on the Nissan diffs that need to be removes, then the EK supports fit strait on.
I am also told that Skyline bearings fit strait onto HR stubs so the Skyline disks coule be used all round (hvent tried this). The disks are a bit smaller in diameter though. I have HQ front disks on mine.
I have posted some pics on my build (small block for and EK wagon)
Hope this helps

Thanks for the advice guys. WW is your diff an lsd? do you know the ratio? and spline size? I've been told if i go anything over 350hp i'll need 31 spline, which i think are from r31 r32 turbo skylines and vl turbo commodores (no one has confirmed this with me yet. Also is it ok to drill skyline axils to suit hq pattern. engineering wise?
