Repairing rims

Post by parisian62 »

I guess I could go out an buy some new rims that that would be waaay too easy...

So...anyone got any tips on repairing the outer lip on a steel rims that have had too many close encounters with gutters and potholes etc.

I've made a timber 'buck' out of hardwood the same radious as the rim and given it a bash - didn't help much - should I try heating up the edge of the rim?
