YEP, had a look a commodore lately? Even my X-Trail looks like that.
We are going to use the panel in that space as the carby intake, work still in progress, it will look better as time goes bye.

Just an update, we are still plugging away, tidying up a few issues around the engine bay, takes great amount of time for not much show. We have the A frames (to attach the FB guards) in place, they will be bolted into place and can be removed if necessary with the guard. Also the engine has been tarted up for christmas. and looks cool 8)

Lisa Simpson custom air filter...I realise it looks not much like an FB, but honestly it will when you shut the bonnet... :wink:

Interesting build , a lot of thought gone into this , and a few headaches to come I reckon :) ,is fun eh .

Re the engine, there was not much to it guys.
It's amazing what a bit of paint and chrome will do :wink: But it will look good in a yellow engine bay.

We left the A pillar to last. Took a lot a lot a lot of figurin.
Anyhow it will all be worth it when we slot a standard windscreen in. thanks guys, will keep you posted.
