Thanks for posting those pics guys. I love those scenes of old wrecks. It seems South Aust is the best place to find old cars still sitting around.
I like taking pictures of them too. Is the site available to be viewed with owner permission?

Those cars were once shiney new in showrooms and someone was once very proud of that car. If only they could talk!
Familys enjoyed holidays in them and kids learnt to drive in them. They then got sold off and passed down the line to less & less interested people.
Eventually ending up as the VK's, VL's & VN's of today with hardly any interest in them at all.

Here's an interesting Ek from a wrecking yard in Melbourne.
"Old Goldie" here must have spent some time immersed in water the way her bumper bar has turned into tissue paper. Someone had resprayed her in metallic gold at one stage and did a reasonable job! She would have looked pretty flash with all that chrome and that paint.
I got the boot spring support pieces and fork off her as mine had worn out. (someone must have been carting stuff with the boot open regularly as all pieces were worn out) The ones in this car were good.
Cheers, Paul
