gday my wipers are doing some strange things
the right one works fine but the left one :roll: when i turn them of the wiper stops in the middle of the window and when i
start them it goes down first so i cant just take it of and put it back on lower. it allso goes way past the the stoping point
any help would be great. it worked when i got the car :roll:

Check you have a good earth.
Do they stop when you turn off the switch? They should self park at a point, then put your wiper arms on.

thanks trev when i first ran them i did not have the arms on so i ran them quite abit so when i put the arms on they should have been fine but they took of towards the engine so i took them of and put them were they would work all over the place

I found when putting mine on for the first time it was easier to blue tack or tape a cable tie onto the wiper spindle and run it till I had them right. Saves headaches and chips/ scratches.
Speed and Style........... One day I'll get the speed bit.

Your linkages at the motor are out Rick.
If the linkages look "right" they are wrong, I'll try and take a picture of mine.

forgot to add, take the wiper arms off and stick a couple of pieces of masking tape on in their place while you are messing around with lining the linkages up. Once the linkages are sorted you can then fine tune the wiper placement with the tape.

thanks stinky. the pic looks the same as mine. is there diffrent ends longer ones that are making the wiper on that side do a longer stroke :?:
