what size brake line fittings

what size brake line fittings

hi guys,
i am currently running new brakelines in my ek, what size fittings do i ask for? i know the internal size will be 3/16ths but whats the external?

Just take the old ones in with you - if you are going to a proper brake place they should know anyway but if you have the old ones it may save you a trip.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

the old ones are long gone :( thats why i'm asking (me being a dumbass cleaning out the shed thought "i don't need these, i'll just replace them" :roll: :oops:

Go to your brake place and if they are worth dealing with they will tell you, Trev 8) .

i asked the same question a while ago. i still have not done mine. i have established that the standard is 3/16" - if your using a booster , some suggest using 1/4" from your master to the booster to get better pressure. look back a few months you'll find more about this subject. :wink: :wink:
