Too true Ratbox. If this is the case though it changes things a little. But my personal preference is to avoid trailering or owning a car that valuable anywayratbox wrote: a well looked after rare trim original low mileage car is better than a restoed car any day
the one thing you can never get back is miles
Speed and Style........... One day I'll get the speed bit.

jacko manages to get 2- 4 cars at different events with no trailers
yes unless one falls in my lap i can never see me owning one that good
and i'm proud to say of all the cars i've owned the only time they've ever been on a trailer is when there not going
one of the biggest joys of owning cars that aren't yor average car is driving them

What! You let your wife drive your car
I know that driving an FB/EK is pure pleasure but sometimes its not worth it.
I dont really care how a car gets from A to B its about making the effort that counts for me.
I am seriously going to make an effort to get to Yamba next year and if I have to it will be on a trailer.
You know my wife isnt real keen on hanging around these old dinosaur cars and listening to people quoting nasco numbers of split pins so Im on my own. She would refuse to drive a car of this age anyway (where are the drink holders etc).
Trailer or not the car will be there I hope!
Top effort by everybody who attended and the sight of so many Bs and Ks is awesome!
Regards Greg

The discussion about to trailer or not to trailer is a bit like the Johnny Z thread...everyone is entitled to how they build and enjoy their FB EK.
Some blokes have spent so much time and $$$'s on the car that the trailer may be the option. I'm glad those cars in question were put on the trailer if it meant getting them to the Nats - otherwise I and the rest of us wouldnt have had the chance to see them...
Whereas others are happy to drive them and whatever happens happens. For me the main enjoyment is driving them.
regards
Stewart

Had a great time. Think next year we'll be putting Tinas FB in the bus. Dont like all the cleaning, stone chips, terrible roads, animals over the road, cold motel rooms etc.
HMMM Trailer Queens... I guess if i had a vehicle that good I probably wouldn't want to drive it that far (over 2000kms)
The Nats...Was good to see such a high standard, so many storys behind some of those cars and always good to see the build up albums.
A big thankyou to Tina who i probably would not of attended without her help cooking and cleaning and putting up with me.
