Need help identifying oil leak, rear main maybe?

Hi everyone, it seems i have an oil leak and i'm expecting the worst- rear main that is. Can anyone confirm what it is before i go doing some unnecessary work....
Oil is leaking from the spot indicated in the photo

It's not just coming from the sump plug and flowing back with the forward movement of the car?
Doesn't look too severe, have you cleaned it up? does it leave a puddle of oil? If not just keep an eye on the oil level and leave it, Trev 8) .

Thanks Trev but unfortunately i did clean prior to taking the photo so i could see where it was coming from. It does leave a small puddle, especially just after a run. I've been told by a mate to use a Morey's oil stabiliser which could thicken the oil and slow the leak down, has anyone had any success with this?? If it is the rear main i'll do it properly when i have the time but for now i just need it to look leakless for the rego inspection at vicroads.
