paroharo's Wintersun 2010 PICS

Post by paroharo »

I just got back from our extended QLD holiday, of which Wintersun was far and away the highlight!
Best car show I've been to!

It was great to meet Scotty, Pete (spaceace), Tony and Fi on Saturday, chilling by the Sputzwagen - I'm loving the new grill!
Image

And now, in true David Letterman style: "Ladeezngennelmen I have today's Top 12 list, and today's category - paroharo's Top 12 rides at Wintersun 2010."

Number 12
Image

Number 11
Image

Number 10
Image

Image

Number 9 (and my wife's favourite)
Image

Number 8
Image

Image

Number 7 (the only shot I could get without people in the way  )
Image

Number 6 - what a shapely rear end on this one
Image

Image

Number 5
Image

Image

Number 4
Image

Image

Number 3 - what a stunner, anyone familiar with this car?
Image

Image

Number 2
Image

Image

Image

"And the Number 1 ride in paroharo's Top 12..."
Number 1 (once again the best I could do without people in the way)
Image

Image

I've got plenty more where that came from if anyone's interested?

Great to meet you to, mate..sorry I was so buggered by that time of the arvo..but I'm an old(er) bloke!
That EK you like is Bill Rawling's cruiser, he's a good mate of our own Paul Kelly (smoothcustoms) that's the reason Bill's car has alot of Smooth Customs bits on it..plus Paul's in bumper indicators..all hand made! 8)

I've still got about 100 odd photos to upload on this site..just been a bit busy stuffing around at home  .
Betcha "Radelaide" is a bit cooler in temperature than Coolagatta!! BRRRR :(

Scotty.

Ok here's some more of my pics, ran out of time to post them all, see how I go tomorrow..
I had the same dramas that others mentioned in the main wintersun post, people standing in the way of shots, the wife getting tired/bored, so didn't get shots of all the cars I would have liked, but still got 200+ so that's not a bad effort. I've selected a few of the best...

This EJ had a camper seat, hence the plate BED43 - bed for three, obviously an open minded optimist!

Outstanding Pics mate.
I drove my big 59 Desoto up there from melbourne one year. A rain cloud turned up at 11.00am and rained full pelt on the Saturday and stayed until 3.00pm Sunday. Ruined the whole event. Perfect weather all the way there and home..
I suppose I got the Friday night cruise in..
