Heres some pics I took during the course of the weekend.

Met up with Jayne and Jack in Tocumwal on Friday morning, so we drove the rest of the way to Naranderra together.

Then passing through Jerillderie, saw this on the side of the road with its owner checking out an FB ute for sale

My wife Tracy and I really enjoyed all moments of the Nationals. From the trip there, to the events and all the side attractions!
The only other nats we went to was in 1990!
Here are some odd snapshot pics that showed how much we enjoyed ourselves!
We'll be at the next One for sure. The EK loved the trip!

Just want to get it back up and going for now. Problem is, what I want to do to it will take some time (and $$$$$), and I am having way too much fun driving it around as it is for the moment.
I must admit, I wasnt a fan of the color scheme when I got it, now I wouldnt change it for quids!! Its well and truely grown on me.
As for plans, needs a respray as it pretty rough when you have a good look at it. But definatly same color scheme.
It has a 138 red at the moment, hoping to upsize that with another red and auto, this time with with a bit more get up and go.
Interior needs a retrim, not sure what to do with that one yet.
As I said, I'm in no hurry. Still loving it the way it is..........for now.

It's a trophy winner Dave, just keep driving it :D .

Although your car has worked out if you win trophies, you deserve a trailer ride

Dave give it new gears and just collect all the bits overtime. You've got a few years easy before you'll want to start upgrading things. It looks great as is and will do for a while yet!

Yeah mate, wasn't trying to tell you it needed work, looks terrific now! I pulled mine off the road when I could see the rust bubbles just starting to form in the usual places. It was a choice between either selling it before the rust took hold or keeping it and doing a total resto. So yeah, cruise the wheels off it until the time comes. Will be good to see it again at next year's Nats. :D

A word of warning on straight cuts, they can be annoyingly loud! My old EK ute ran Diecrest Engineering ones and you could hear it coming from far enough away to hear before you see. Long trips ended in ringing ears as the stereo was that loud to drown out the howl.
