I echo what silver has said....
First Nats for me too.
Even with all the dramas i had on my first attempt to drive down on friday.... i had a ball when i finally got there late saturday arvo.
10 hours for the trip back home to Newy.. 7 hours and 10 mins for the trip down.. ... the times indicate just how hard i flogged the old van to get there in time for a drink on saturday night..
Lots n lots of beautiful FBs and EK's . Stock, sports, modified.... every owner can be proud of thier great cars.
Congrats to all the trophy winners.

Gotta love those gold FB Traxx models as a momento of the Nats aye guys.

Gotta go and fit a right rear brake shoe retainer clip.. noise drove me crazy on the way home....

See yas all again in Sawtell in 2011... or maybe AHD Sydney 1st August.

Hey silver and reddo, it was my first nationals too and the warm welcome by everyone as i was broken into the ways was great.

My trip home really showed how much such events, clubs and forums bring out the best of each other......

About 60k out out of the hotel drive way, my windscreen was splattered with oil comming up from the bonnet flutes, so ive pulled over and the engine bay and sideplate was covered with oil.

As ive pulled the box of tools and quick fixes out from the boot, David White ( FB Modified in metallic sky blue), pulled over and actually took his princess off the tralier and towed me up to Junee (fb Ville), where mark oriel/steve jackson had orgainsed to let me leave the car there if i wasnt able to fix it and help me get back home. Oh and i cant forget karen, thanks for your help to.

Well it turns out that my oil put return pipe had blown a hole, so i removed it, blocked the holes with some bolts, filled her up with oil and i was again on my way.

Gentlemen, I appreaciate your help, you guys really show the spirit and friendships that the nationals, car clubs and forums stands for.

For fb owners, you guys are ok.

Awesome nats, awesome cars, great to catchup with everyone and have a quiet drink at our table after the "launch of JD 2" .... and I was home in 5 hours!! bring on 2011!!!
