Paint Codes and Pics

Post by mr.jones »

I have been collecting paint code info for some time and have had a collection of HQ-Z pics up @ http://gallery.oldholden.com/Mr_Jones/ I have now expanded my shed to include other old Holden models.

I hope to have a fairly complete set of pics in the near future, most of the FB & EK shots have come from this forum and if anyone objects to their image being used email me at mrjones@oldholden.com and I will remove it, on the otherhand if anyone has any other model Holden pics I could use they would be most appreciated. :D :D A trim section for each model will be put together down the track as well, keywords will be added to all the colours so google will pick them up to make searching for a particular colour easier too.

Thanks and hopefully it will be a useful tool researching an original colour or looking at all the options before a respray.

Great idea Leroy !

I have an EK ute which is coded as Silverton Grey - 4685 and yet my requests for either a pic or mixing charts haven't got me anywhere so maybe an appeal to the broader Holden community might bear fruit ?

It strikes me as odd that the amount of info that a lot of owners have collected doesn't include colour / mixing charts anymore ? !!! ?

Good luck with what you are attempting to do - I am sure there would be lots of owners on this forum that would jump at the chance to see their original cars used to help others out.
