Post by Blacky »

Took the ute up to Kalgoorlie to register it - the idea was to keep the original plates but the MONGRELS wouldnt re-issue them
Got the ute licenced on friday and hung around for the show on the weekend. We had a cruise to the Broadarrow tavern on the saturday.....

Blacky can you not get your old number plate in the retro series - http://www.dpi.wa.gov.au/licensing/cust ... s/1399.asp
I changed black on white plates from one car to another without any problems, the other thing is, if you weren't paying rego on the old plates they may have been re-issued, or they may not be old enough for re-issue - think it's 40yrs.
The only reason for time is so everything dosen't happen at once.
If Macca's home delivered there'd be one less drunk on the road.

Great to see the ute on the road Blacky, looks very 8) 8)

I remember a Pacer wagon in unique cars, late 1995, right around the time I was shopping for my first set of wheels. Car was in Canberra and stated as one of 2 made, asking price was $3000 which was right on my 'budget'. Glad I didn't land it because I doubt either myself or the car would have survived
