Family wagon

Post by xxl »

I've finally gotten around to sticking up some pics, this is an old hd we bought and did a really quick throw-together.Being self employed and needing a family driver,we built this in seven days(seven very long days!)
Now it's just the bugs to iron out and making it more comfortable to drive with a new bubba (window tint, aircon etc)

We chucked the running gear out of the ek in it,186 (pretty hot) trimatic,3.36 lsd and disc brake front(torry discs and calipers)
the wheels are dragways,14x8's all round with 265's on the back and 195's on the front. We stuck all new pedders springs and shocks and new ball joints and tie rod ends.I'm having a really good time finishing her off as each little improvement makes her so much nicer to drive! I still need some bits, linkages for x2 carbs plus an old style 1 7/32 strommy and a finned rocker cover to suit.
